Service Response
By telephoning our published
business number, a service response can be made at any time 24-hours
a day, 7-days a week.
The APC Customer Service department directly handles service responses received Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Service support requests made at other than normal business hours are handled by the 24-hour alarm center. A trained alarm center operator will direct the call to an on-duty or on-call service technician.
Stocked Parts
APC inventories service parts
for the low voltage systems we install. Due to the strength and
flexibility of our manufacturers, specialty and one-of-a-kind
components are not required. Consequently, APC stocks adequate
components to maintain the continued operation or your life-safety
systems.
Customer Service Stock
If required, the customer can
maintain service stock. This service stock can be utilized for
use by the APC technician or in-house maintenance personnel.
Customer Training Support
In combination with our suppliers,
customer service training is available.
Testing Services
APC offers a wide variety of
testing services. This can be exclusive APC service or done in
conjunction with customer maintenance personnel.
Extended Warranty Services
APC offers a variety of extended
warranty services, which include the following:
- Parts only service
- Labor only service
- Parts and labor service
- Any of the above can be combined with testing services
- Time and material
Price Protection
Consistent with our partnership
philosophy, we will provide unit prices for devices used within
your system. As manufacturers' prices increase, the unit price
list will be adjusted accordingly. This usually takes place once
annually.
Leverage
If at any time you feel APC
has provided inadequate service support or price gouging, you
have the capability of purchasing products from a variety of
distributors outside of the immediate Toledo area.
